The Magus Group of companies was established in 2000 by Tanno Brosens and Paul Duval. The group’s activities cover specialised finance, venture capital and structured property transactions. Launched initially as a Joint Venture with Allan Gray Limited, the group is now independent and privately owned by the founding and existing partners.
In 2003 Magus Specialised Funds concluded a landmark transaction when it acquired the International Bank of Southern Africa from BNP Paribas and Dresdner Bank.
